Arrive Here With Yourself

A part of me wants to eat all the junk food right now.  It wants to binge watch TV, sleep in, and not workout.  It wants to compare myself to others and then shame myself for not having what they have.  This is the part of me that wants to hide in my fear and stay right where I am.

I’m in withdrawal right now and my guess is you are too - at least in some way shape or form.  You're in withdrawal from your normal daily patterns and you're being forced (gifted) to look at yourself.  Perhaps for the very first time.

If you’re lonely I’m here to tell you that’s okay.  In fact you are right where you are suppose to be.  Don’t run from it.  Don’t hide under your covers and try and block out the light.  The loneliness is here to help you connect to YOU.

Like it or not you’ve arrived at the door of your awakening.  This quarantine is a gift for all of us to uncover who we truly are.  Don’t run from it.  You owe it to yourself and your one precious life to lean in to whatever is coming up for you.

The very nature of waking up is to be aware.  Be aware of your patterns.  Be aware of what makes you uncomfortable and what you want to run away from.

Here’s a podcast that I recorded last month where I talk about my experience of meeting myself for the very fist time.  I talk about all of the feelings that came up for me as a result of no longer blocking them with destructive patterns.  I talk about letting go and discovering who I truly am.

I’d love to hear what resonates with you so write me and tell me how you’re doing.  Or if a 30 minute phone call would help I am more than happy to schedule a time to talk to you.  It’s important to know that you are not alone right now.

You are responsible for the healing of your life.  Let go, sit in the loneliness, and you will be reborn and uncover who you truly are.

Sending you love and well wishes of health and safety,

Zachary
